As we reach the end of 2025, we are taking a moment to reflect on what has been one of the most memorable and positive years in the history of Honeys Hair and Beauty. It has been a year shaped by progress, learning and community spirit, and we are thankful to every client, team member and supporter who has been part of our journey.
This year marked a very special milestone as we celebrated 25 years of Honeys caring for clients in Taunton. Founded by Sally Priscott in her twenties while raising her young son Aaron alone, the salon began with a clear vision. Sally wanted to build a business that would support her family while also creating a welcoming environment where women could grow in confidence and in their careers. That commitment has shaped Honeys from the very beginning and remains at the heart of what we do today.
To celebrate the anniversary, we held a special evening at the salon for clients, past team members and the current Honeys team. The night was filled with warm conversations, shared memories and emotional reunions. Past team members spoke fondly about how their time at Honeys helped shape their early careers, while clients enjoyed the chance to hear stories from the salon’s early days. It was a reminder of the strong community that has grown around us over the past 25 years.
The evening also raised more than £800 for two charities close to Sally’s heart. These were Talk Club, which supports men’s mental health and suicide prevention, and St Margaret’s Hospice, a vital local organisation providing thoughtful and compassionate care across Somerset. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated.

A brand new website
We were delighted to publish our new website, offering clearer information, easier booking and a design that better reflects the modern Honeys experience.

Supporting apprentices remains one of our core values. Helping young people learn, build confidence and begin their careers in a positive environment is something we take great pride in.
Winning Best Salon Team at The UK Salon Awards
One of the proudest moments of 2025 was being voted Best Salon Team, Somerset at The UK Salon Awards. Representing the team on the night, Jordan, Ella and Bryony travelled to London and accepted the award on our behalf. It was a very special moment for them and for the entire Honeys team.

These treatments have expanded our offering and given clients even more choice when looking to refresh or transform their hair.
Using and recommending Keune professional products
We also began using and recommending the luxurious Keune range. Known for quality ingredients and excellent results, Keune products have quickly become a client favourite.
As we look towards 2026, we remain committed to warm, friendly and high quality care, ongoing training, investment in our team and continuing to grow as a trusted local salon.
