BIAB nails in Taunton for anyone whose own nails peel, split or refuse to grow. A layer of builder gel goes over your natural nails in a soft natural shade, so they look neat and feel stronger without any added length. It soaks off rather than being drilled away, which keeps the nail underneath in good condition.

More information

What BIAB is and why it helps weak nails

BIAB stands for Builder In A Bottle. It is a thicker gel than a normal gel polish, so it can be shaped to give each nail a gentle curve and a smooth, even surface. That extra structure is what stops soft nails from bending and splitting while they grow.

  • No added length: your nails stay at a practical, everyday length.
  • Natural shade: a clean, understated finish that suits work and home life.
  • Soak off removal: kinder than filing off acrylic when you want a break.

Your first BIAB appointment

  1. A quick chat about shape, length and how you use your hands.
  2. Gentle prep: shaping, cuticle care and a light buff so the gel grips well.
  3. Builder gel applied and shaped nail by nail, then cured under an LED lamp.
  4. A glossy top coat, finished with cuticle oil.

Keeping your BIAB looking fresh

Most clients come back every three to four weeks for a BIAB infill. The regrowth is filled and the shape rebalanced, so your nails are never fully removed and reapplied each time. If one breaks in between, a single BIAB nail repair puts it right.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a BIAB overlay?
BIAB stands for Builder In A Bottle. It is a soak-off builder gel applied over your natural nails to add strength and a smooth, glossy finish, without adding any length.
Is BIAB gentler than acrylic?
Yes. BIAB is lighter and more flexible than traditional acrylic and it soaks off rather than needing heavy filing, so the natural nail underneath stays in better condition.
Can I have BIAB if my nails are short or peeling?
That is exactly what it is designed for. BIAB supports soft, peeling or splitting nails and helps them grow, while keeping the length practical for everyday life.
Does this appointment include colour?
No, this is applied in a natural shade for a clean, understated finish. If you would like colour, book BIAB Nails with Colour instead.
What happens next time I come in?
Rather than removing everything, most clients book a BIAB Infill every three to four weeks. Infilling is kinder to the natural nail than repeated removal and reapplication.
