Once the added length and product are off, your natural nails are filed to a neat shape, gently buffed smooth and your cuticles cared for. Book this if you are taking a break from extensions, moving to overlays or BIAB, or going back to your own natural length.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does this take longer than removal on natural nails?
There is more product to take off with extensions, and it has to be reduced gradually to protect the natural nail underneath, so we allow extra time for it.
How short will my nails be afterwards?
Back to your own natural length, which usually feels short at first if you have worn extensions for a while. They are shaped and buffed so they still look neat.
Can I go straight into BIAB or an overlay instead?
Yes, and many clients do. Mention it when you book so we can allow time for both the removal and your new set in one appointment.
Can you remove extensions applied at another salon?
Yes. Please let us know when you book, as removal times vary depending on the system used and how thickly the product was applied.
