Aftercare & Maintenance
For the first 48 hours keep hair dry and avoid heat so the adhesive can set fully. After that, wash two to three times a week with a sulphate free shampoo, keeping conditioner and oils to the mid lengths and ends only. Always support the roots and brush morning and evening with an extension friendly brush.
Use heat protectant and avoid applying direct heat to the tapes. Sleep with hair in a loose plait or low pony to minimise tangling. For swimming or the gym, tie hair up, rinse well after, and dry the roots thoroughly.
Plan a refit every six to eight weeks as your hair grows. At your appointment the tapes are removed, your hair and the wefts are cleansed, and the extensions are reapplied in the right position. With good care, the hair can often be reused across multiple refits.
