BIAB Nails

BIAB is a builder gel applied to your natural nails for real strength without the weight of acrylic. Expect neat shaping, a smooth glossy finish, and a set that stays looking freshly done for weeks.

More information

BIAB stands for Builder In A Bottle, a soak-off builder gel that adds a protective layer of strength to your own nails. It is a popular choice if your nails peel, split or struggle to grow, because it supports the free edge while the natural nail grows underneath.

Your appointment starts with a chat about nail condition, the length and shape you want, and how you use your hands day to day. We then prep gently, apply and cure the gel, and finish with a smooth, high-shine surface. From there most clients simply return for an infill every three to four weeks, which is kinder to the natural nail than repeated removal.

You will leave with straightforward aftercare advice, plus an honest view on how often to rebook so your nails stay strong and looking good between visits.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does BIAB stand for?
BIAB stands for Builder In A Bottle. It is a soak-off builder gel applied to your natural nails to add strength and a smooth, glossy finish, without adding length.
Is BIAB better for my nails than acrylic?
BIAB is more flexible and lighter than traditional acrylic, and it soaks off rather than needing heavy filing. Applied and removed correctly, it protects the natural nail while it grows.
How long does BIAB last?
Most clients get three to four weeks before regrowth becomes noticeable. Rather than removing it each time, you can come back for an infill, which keeps your natural nails in better condition.
Do I have to have colour with BIAB?
No. BIAB Overlays are applied in a natural shade for a clean, understated finish. If you would like colour, choose one of our BIAB with Colour Gel appointments instead.
Can I have BIAB if my nails are short or weak?
Yes, that is exactly what it is designed for. BIAB adds structure to soft, peeling or splitting nails and helps them grow, while keeping the length practical for everyday life.
Which areas do you serve?
We welcome clients from Taunton, Wellington, Bridgwater, Wiveliscombe, North Petherton and the surrounding Somerset villages.
